In the spirit of the 400th anniversary of Québec, we propose a magnificient CD called L'Odyssée vers Québec - Musiques et récits des "Descouvertures". This is a French-Quebec production recorded in Normandy and in Quebec. It contains a travel tale put into music of the era (song and narration in instrumental music) : festive music from King Louis XIII's court (instrumental) and native indian music with Autochtone and European instruments which includes 12 musicians, three singers and also a comedian-narrator.
An assortment of era instruments such as triple harpe, luths, archiluth, baroque guitar , flute, flute traversiere, baroque violin, viole de gambe, percussions... and multiple native indian traditional instruments with a well documented booklet.
